Nutrition educators are on the front lines when it comes to making sure Americans have the most up-to-date information about food and nutrition, and Colorado State University’s 36th Lillian Fountain Smith Conference, sponsored by the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, will arm nutrition educators with current and authoritative information for their fight against obesity and other nutrition-related chronic diseases.
To improve the understanding of their constituencies all of the state fish and wildlife agencies in the U.S. have joined forces to commission a nationwide study led by Colorado State University scientists.
Triunfo is a partnership between the CNS’s Education and Outreach Center and Colorado State University’s El Centro student-support program. Each year, it pairs Colorado State student mentors with primarily underserved K-12 students, often paying to bus the mentees to tutoring sessions.
