JoelWashington Post reporter Joel Achenbach will speak at Colorado State University at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19 in Natural Resources Building Room 113. He will discuss the role media plays in science communication. The event is free and open to the public, and no registration is necessary.

‘The War on Science’

Achenbach is a 25-year writer for the Washington Post, regular contributor to National Geographic, journalism teacher and author of seven books. He has written extensively on climate change, conservation issues and the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. He also will be discussing his March 2015 National Geographic cover story “The War on Science.”
