Ed Warner, author of the new book, Running with Rhinos and Warner College of Natural Resources alum, will speak about his work to conserve African rhinos at Avogadro’s Number on Thursday, March 31, from 4–6 p.m.

In the book, Warner takes readers along as he volunteers as ground support for the International Rhino Foundation’s Rhino Conservancy Project, or “Rhino Ops” in Zimbabwe.

Warner will detail this gritty, sweaty, sometimes scary, but always exhilarating work in his remarks, which will begin at 4:30 p.m.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase. All proceeds will be donated to support wildlife conservation.

The talk is sponsored by the School of Global Environmental Sustainability and the Warner College of Natural Resources. The event is free, and open to the public.
