Trash or recycling? What you need to know

Recycling is even more popular than bicycling on the CSU campus. The Ram Recycle program recycles more than 2 million pounds of material every year, and in 2016, Colorado State had a recycling rate of 79.5 percent.

While CSU adopted a single stream recycling system in 2008, it’s still important to keep non-recyclable items out of the collection stream. Watch what happens when Kirstie checks into what’s in Matt’s recycling bin. Learn more about recycling and waste diversion on campus here[1]. (Video by Matt Diller, CSU Housing & Dining Services)
