CAM the Rams and Rockies mascot Dinger will be part of the fun Aug 6 at the 10th Annual Rams at the Rockies celebration.

Rams are taking over Coors Field – and you can be there to share in the fun.

The 10th annual Rams at the Rockies celebration, sponsored by CSU’s Division of External Relations and the Alumni Association, is set for Saturday, Aug. 6 at Coors Field as the Colorado Rockies take on the Miami Marlins. Game time is 6:10 p.m.

CSU alumni, fans and friends are invited to the party, which will include lots of Ram-related moments:

  • Astronaut, U.S. Navy Commander and CSU alumnus Kent Rominger (’78) will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Rominger was selected as a NASA astronaut in 1992 and is a veteran of five space shuttle flights including two as the mission commander. He’s currently vice president of Strategy and Business Development for Space Launch Division, ATK Aerospace Group. Last year, he was inducted into the NASA astronaut hall of fame.
  • Alumnus Lexie Tilson (B.A. ’10, M.A. ’11) will sing the National Anthem. Lexie earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music therapy, and is a board certified music therapist who works with individuals on the autism spectrum, children with developmental disabilities, adults with dementia, survivors of trauma and abuse, and others. She’s currently a music therapist for the Child and Family Therapy Center of Denver.
  • CAM the Ram and the CSU volleyball team will be recognized on the field prior to the game.

Tickets available

Tickets are $65 (infield box), $32 (outfield box) and $20 (upper reserved outfield) and can be purchased online. Ticket prices include a CSU-themed Colorado Rockies hat and a $2 donation to the CSU Alumni Association. (The limited edition hat is only available as part of the CSU ticket package, and hats must be picked up at the CSU booth behind the Rooftop Tavern before the fourth inning.)

Fans are invited to visit the CSU kiosk on the main concourse where they can pick up free CSU swag, meet current Ram student-athletes and have their picture taken with CAM the Ram.
