We held our second partner-hosted day at Woodward on October 19. Twenty five professionals from Otter Products, AEI, Envirofit, Woodward and Colorado State University spent a few hours learning more about Woodward, what they do, and touring their new production facility in Fort Collins. It was a very successful event and we look forward to more hosted events!

The Supply Chain Management Forum meeting this fall was November 2 with a theme of talent management in the supply chain. Lokana Reed from Target, Russ Kittel (retired) from United Launch Associates, and Bill Shuster from the CSU College of Business spoke about hiring and developing SCM grads.

A panel of students and recent grads discussed their desires and expectations from companies.  The keynote address was provided by Mary Zenzen, founder of Better World Organizations, and featured a presentation on implementing positive psychology in the workplace and encouraged everyone to look at the world through gratitude glasses.

The meeting also included a partner spotlight featuring AEI and their practicum team, which provided partners with a book of student resumes, and highlighted stats on the program, forum and our partners – all per recommendations of our Board of Advisors. Our spring forum will be Tuesday, April 4, 2017.
