Rocky Mountain Energy Summit offers student discount

The Colorado Oil and Gas Association is offering students a discounted rate to attend the 28th annual Rocky Mountain Energy Summit, Aug. 22-25.

Taking place in the Mile High Ballroom at Denver’s Colorado Convention Center, the summit will include sessions on energy policy, the future of wellbore efficiencies, natural gas markets, “reinventing the Denver-Julesburg Basin,” and more.

An academic roundtable will feature Bryan Willson, CSU professor of mechanical engineering and director of the CSU Energy Institute. The panel will focus on partnerships and innovative technologies.

Also part of the summit: an exhibition of companies, schools and professional organizations, including the American institute of Professional Geologists, Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, Denver Petroleum Club and Rocky Mountain Oil Journal.
