RamFest best undergraduate experience ever

It might be one of the best jobs an undergraduate could possibly have: Help plan, book and stage a full-scale concert by nationally renowned artists for your university.

That’s what RamEvents, part of Colorado State University Campus Activities, does every year. Through the efforts of a dedicated team, CSU students can wrap up their first week of classes with RamFest, an outdoor music festival with openers and a headliner, for a minimal ticket price.

This year, the headline act was The Head and The Heart, which appeared just days ahead of a sold-out show at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver and the debut of their newest release. The concert also nearly sold out the allotment of tickets for the non-student public, giving the RamFest crew another opportunity to learn about working with community sponsors and partners to turn a profit to help fund next year’s show.
