A new section of Meridian Avenue along the east side of the stadium construction site opened in time for the Monday morning commute to campus June 12.

The street connects to Lake Street to the south and Pitkin Street to the north, offering faculty, staff, students and guests on the west side of campus a direct route off campus to the south.

The temporary connector road through the Summit Hall parking lot will close June 19.

The new section of Meridian was within the stadium construction fence, portions of which came down over weekend, although work continues inside the building.
