New Commitment to Campus benefits

Colorado State University faculty and staff now have three new benefits under the Commitment to Campus program.

Kendall Reagan Diabetes Prevention Program

The first new addition to C2C is the expansion of Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center’s Diabetes Prevention Program. The Diabetes Prevention Program is now covered 100 percent for faculty and administrative professionals who are Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield subscribers, as well as for regular state classified employees. Registered dietitians, who are also trained lifestyle coaches and have graduate degrees, work with clients to improve diet, increase physical activity, achieve moderate weight loss and provide group support. A supermarket tour and cooking class are included. The philosophy is long-term success, so the program includes weekly and monthly meetings over the course of a year.  Learn more about the program here.

Canopy Airport Parking

CSU employees traveling from Denver International Airport now have another discounted parking option in addition to the existing WallyPark benefit, with C2C’s discounted rates with Canopy Airport Parking. Faculty and staff save 50 percent off regular rates — $5 daily for open air self-park and $8 per day for covered self-parking. To utilize this discount, visit this site, print the coupon, and redeem it at Canopy Airport Parking.

Career Counseling and Assessment

Through C2C, CSU’s Career Counseling and Assessment Clinic is now available to employees and their immediate families at 60 percent off the already-discounted faculty and staff rate. This service assists employees seeking a stronger sense of purpose and direction in their careers. The program includes five one-on-one interpretation and career counseling sessions, formal assessments of interests and work culture preferences, and a comprehensive summary letter. Learn more here.

The Spoke

Another C2C perk to remember in these warmer months: The Spoke bike repair shop on campus will repair your bike for a low cost, or teach you how to maintain it. If the you participate in learning, the labor is free, parts not included. The Spoke is located in the Pavilion in Laurel Village.
