In memory: Pamela Occhiuto

Pamela Kay Occhiuto, born April 12, 1954, in Pueblo, passed away unexpectedly, after an in-home accident, on Friday, March 18.
Pam moved to Fort Collins in 1976. She retired from Colorado State University after 38 years of service. She worked in the Human Resources Department, the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology, and Laboratory Animal Resources. Pam enjoyed her yard and beautiful flower gardens. She loved to walk her beloved dogs, Cabo and Bella, around the block visiting with neighbors.
Pam is survived by her mother, Lois Occhiuto of Pueblo; sister, JorgAnne and brother-in-law, Tim Sewolt of Fruita; aunts, Clela Long and Kathleen Serracino of Pueblo; uncle, Bill and aunt, RuthAnn Wingfield of Phoenix, Arizona, and several cousins.Pam was preceded in death by her beloved father, George R. Occhiuto; grandparents, Joseph and Lugina (Felice) Occhiuto and Ernest and Clara (Engel) Wingfield; uncles, Frank and Albert Occhiuto, Ed Serracino, Max Long and cousin, Russ Serracino.
The family would like to express a very special thank you to Kim D. and Nella D. for helping Pam with her health issues of the past two years. And, Poudre Valley Hospital intensive care unit nurses Jen and Julie for taking such good care of Pam during her final hours.
