Lagoon Summer Concert Series gets funky with Mojomama

Mojomama[1] will be hitting the Lagoon Summer Concert Series Stage on Mojomama bandWednesday, July 19 at 6:30 pm. Led by the powerful vocals of Jessica Rowland, the group blends a variety of sounds from funk to soul to classic rock. The group is based out of Longmont, Colorado and brings their funky melodies to stages across the Front Range.

Their 2015 self-titled album, “Mojomama” was awarded the “Best Self-Produced Album” and “Best Female Vocals” by the Colorado Blues Society.

The evening will also feature local food trucks: Wing Shack, The Taco Shop, Umami Mobile Eatery, the Human Being, and Divine Ice Cream.

All Lagoon concerts are free and open to the public. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and park in the Lory Student Center or Moby Arena lots.
