J.J. Beasley

Story by Zara Hopkins

J.J. Beasley is from Denver, Colorado, and a recent graduate from the College of Business here at CSU. He spent the summer as an intern for the Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center. J.J. is currently working on the last prerequisites needed in order to enter a master’s program in nutrition.

J.J.’s nutritional areas of interest include sports performance, health promotion and disease prevention, and intestinal health. He plans to become a registered dietitian and work with a sports or community facility as a dietitian. His long term plans include starting his own practice utilizing his business and nutrition degrees.

J.J. recently stated, “I love working at the KRNC because it allows me to receive hands-on experience in a nutrition environment.” He said the opportunity to learn more about nutrition was phenomenal.

The Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center is in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition in CSU’s College of Health and Human Sciences.
