CSU’s Horticulture Honor Society, Pi Alpha Xi, will be taking orders for 22-inch Douglas Fir holiday wreaths this week. The cost is $20 without a bow and $22 with a bow. To order a wreath, email your name, phone number or email address to csupaxclub@yahoo.com by noon on Friday, Dec. 2. Please pre-pay for your order with cash or check at the Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Departmental Office in the Shepardson Building.

Support the Horticulture Honor Society

The Horticulture Honor Society was established to foster fellowship among students, educators and professional horticulturists. The society’s mission is to promote high scholarship, fellowship, professional leadership and the enrichment of human life through plants. Pi Alpha Xi recognizes junior and senior students with high scholastic achievement who demonstrate a strong interest in horticulture.

The holiday wreath fundraiser will be used to fund a field trip to ProGreen, the Colorado Green Industry Trade Show, as well as fund guest speakers and a Pi Alpha Xi Scholarship offered to a member of the honor society. All funds will be used to support students in the honor society and bring them closer to a meaningful career in horticulture.
