Budget hearings for Fiscal Year 2016 will be held Jan. 28, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., in the Cherokee Park Ballroom in the Lory Student Center. The process is open to the entire campus community and the general public.

Vice presidents and deans will each have 15 minutes to present their budget priorities. They will make their arguments for the initiatives they have submitted earlier in the budgeting process – what they are for, why they are important, and answer any questions.  Provost Rick Miranda will summarize the requests and present the latest draft of the FY 2016 budget.

Based on the information presented at the hearings, an updated draft budget will be compiled and ready for review and feedback from the campus community in mid-to-late February, according to Miranda.

A final budget must be in place before the state’s fiscal year begins on July 1.
