Budget hearings for Fiscal Year 2018 will be held Jan. 25, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., in the Cherokee Park Ballroom in the Lory Student Center. The hearings are open to the entire Colorado State University campus community and the general public.
Representatives from each Budget Area Review Committee will have 30 minutes to present their summary analyses of the budget requests made by university divisions and colleges that were submitted last fall, and to answer any questions.
Provost Rick Miranda will summarize the requests and present the latest draft of the FY 2018 budget at the end of the day.
Based on the information presented at the hearings, an updated draft budget will be compiled and ready for review and feedback from the campus community in mid- to late February, according to Miranda.
A final budget must be in place before the state’s fiscal year begins on July 1.
