Everyday Hero Laura Snowhite

laura-snowhite-bfsAdded project? Still smiling

Laura Snowhite is an Administrative Assistant III in the Business and Financial Services department. She has been in this position and at Colorado State University for three years. Laura is also a member of the Classified Personnel Council.

Laura was nominated as an Everyday Hero by Thao Biel. “Laura is a great contribution and valuable asset to the department,” said Thao. “She is always willing to help. She recently worked on a building remodel project and had a smile on her face throughout.”

“I’ll be here as long as they let me stay”

Laura and her husband moved to Fort Collins about four years ago for her husband’s job in Wyoming. She thought it would be cool to work at CSU, so she applied.

In her free time Laura loves reading, hiking and snowshoeing in the mountains. Something her fellow employees might not know is that she loves pizza without pepperoni, but does order it for her family.

Laura loves working here and will be here as long as they will let her stay. She plans on retiring from CSU. Laura considers this award a great honor. She admits that the whole office deserves to be recognized, that it’s a team effort.
