Educational assistance award available to state classified employees

The Classified Personnel Council offers awards to assist state classified employees seeking to further their education.

Employees may use the award to meet any needs associated with their education: tuition, fees, books, child care expenses, gas for traveling to class, etc. cpc_logo

The award can be used to enroll in trade courses or classes for licensing, certifications or professional development, even courses at schools other than CSU. For more details, see http://cpc.colostate.edu/annual-cpc-awards/educational-assistance/.

The application deadline for Fall 2016 is Oct. 14. All information must be received by 5 p.m. The application form is available online.

Applicants must be a state classified employee affiliated with Colorado State University, employed at least 3/4 time. They must also have been a state classified employee at CSU for at least two years as of award application deadline. Past recipients are not eligible to reapply for three years.
