“Donna consistently goes above and beyond in her IT role,” said Ratzlaff. “She not only answers any nonsensical question you might have right away, but takes time to help any faculty or staff who may not be as tech savvy with their needs at all hours.”

Ratzlaff added that Merwarth is dedicated, has great customer service, and is a wonderful co-worker and friend.

In her free time, Merwarth enjoys bonsai plants and photography. In being nominated for this award, she is ecstatic that people are taking notice. She believes it is the small things that are important, such as a smile or a hearty hand shake.

Merwarth is dedicated to her job and her future plans are making sure everything runs successfully there. She also hopes to pursue learning about plants and the environment.
