Come join the party Saturday, Aug. 5, when CSU invites the community to visit campus, welcoming them with free food, fun, music and a chance to experience football at the new on-campus stadium.

The annual Community Open House begins at 10:30 a.m. and includes a concert by renowned singer/songwriter Brent Cowles[2], fun for the kids with inflatables at Ram Town and giveaways – including artisan pops provided by Revolution Artisan Pops in Fort Collins[3] and Scheels[4] is providing free clear stadium bags to the first 5,000 fans.

The schedule also includes a dedication of the 4,700 commemorative bricks, located on the plaza on the north end of the stadium. The ceremony begins at 11:40 a.m.

Fans can also check out the new Ram Zone Merchandise Store on the stadium’s north side. Ram Zone will feature all of the latest Rams gear and merchandise.

Gates open at noon

The stadium gates open at noon; tickets are required for entrance. Season-ticket holders can sit in their actual seats after checking out the many stadium amenities. Concessions stands will be open, and fans can experience a wide variety of food choices that were not available in previous years. The New Belgium Porch will be open to all.

Season-ticket holders can also pick up their season tickets and parking passes at the Rams Ticket Office on the north side of the stadium. Tickets and passes will only be released to those whose name appears on their CSU Athletics account, and photo ID is required. Tickets and passes that are not picked up Saturday will be mailed Aug. 7.

Tickets free, but required for stadium admission

If you don’t have season tickets you can still get in the stadium. Free general admission tickets are available online at csurams.com[5] and can be printed in advance, or you can pick them up at the stadium ticket office at the event.

Plenty of parking options

Parking is available beginning at 10 a.m. in various campus lots, and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pass holders can park in their designated game-day lots or any other available lot. Tailgating, while allowed on game day, will not be allowed at the Community Open house.,

Coach Mike Bobo’s Rams will hold their first scrimmage of the fall starting at 1 p.m. The scrimmage will take place three weeks prior to the inaugural game at the stadium, set for 12:30 p.m. Aug. 26 against Oregon State.

All single-game tickets for the inaugural game are sold out. You can still get a seat for the historic game by purchasing season tickets online or by calling (970) 491-RAMS.
