Commitment to Campus: Two hoops games on the menu

What could be better than spending a couple of hours cheering on the CSU men’s and women’s basketball teams?

Well, how about cheering on the Rams for half-price – and getting free food to boot?

Thanks to the Commitment to Campus program, employees can get half-price tickets to Saturday’s 2 p.m. men’s basketball game against Fresno State and Wednesday’s 7 p.m. women’s game against Border War rival Wyoming.

In addition to discounted tickets, employees can get vouchers for a free food item and beverage.

Great games on tap

Both games promise to be exciting affairs.

The men’s team brings a 16-9 overall record and 8-4 Mountain West mark into Saturday’s game. The Rams currently are in second place in the league and will be seeking to avenge one of their four league losses against the Bulldogs.

The women’s team (18-6, 10-2 Mountain West) is in first place and seeking its fourth consecutive conference championship. Wyoming (17-6, 9-3) comes to Moby Arena as a primary threat to the Rams’ title chances.
