Updated 10:30 a.m. July 17, 2015:

The northbound lane of Center Avenue will reopen the morning of July 18.

Disruption to north and southbound traffic on Center from Prospect Road to Bay Drive, as well as east and west traffic on Prospect at the intersection, will continue through August 13.

Flaggers will be in the area to allow both east and west, and north and southbound traffic to pass. Expect delays, and consider using alternate routes.

 

Updated, 4:36 p.m. July 6, 2015: 

Center Avenue will be fully closed — no north or south-bound traffic — starting today, July 6, and will run through Friday, July 10. There will be residential access to Aggie South, the PERC construction site, and for the USDA greenhouse, but there will be no through traffic.

Posted June 25:

Center Avenue will be impacted by utility work June 26-July 10.

The street will be fully closed from 10:30 a.m.-noon on Saturday, June 27, for the MS150 bike race.

Northbound traffic is closed from Prospect Road south to Bay Drive from June 26-July 10 for utility work.  Southbound traffic also will close for several days during the completion of the project, but dates have yet to be determined.

Detour signs will be posted.
