Center Avenue is now open to traffic, with work completed a few days ahead of schedule.

Center Avenue closed Prospect to Bay Drive

Center Avenue will be closed at Prospect Road south to Bay Drive from Feb. 8 – Feb. 19. The closure is for utility relocation work in conjunction with construction of the underpass below Prospect Road at the Center Avenue intersections.

Traffic on Center Avenue leaving campus at Prospect may still turn east or west, but will be unable to continue south.

The sidewalk on the west side of Center Avenue also will be closed, but the sidewalk on the east side of Center Avenue will remain open. Bikes may detour via the Spring Creek Trail, or must dismount at the trail if they remain on the east sidewalk of Center Avenue.

Around the Horn will continue to serve the Research Blvd parking lot with a route to campus, but will be detoured. Check Transfort for rider alerts and detours.
