Are you ready to launch your business?

Students: Do you have a creative business idea but don’t know where to start? The Venture Accelerator program can help turn your ideas into reality!

The Institute for Entrepreneurship in the College of Business is getting ready to launch its fourth annual Venture Accelerator Program beginning Fall 2015. We will be accepting applications for the program starting through March 27, 2015.

The Venture Accelerator Program provides hands-on entrepreneurship training, advising and mentoring for student-run ventures. Selected entrepreneurs are coached for nine months on developing a viable idea and better positioning it for a successful launch.

The mission of the Venture Accelerator program is to educate students and to introduce them to the local entrepreneurship ecosystem, including connections to resources, events and funding opportunities, with the ultimate goal of creating revenue-generating, investment-ready ventures. The Venture Accelerator program consists of two stages: the Immersion Lab which runs from August to December and the Start-Up Spring Board which runs from January to May.

Contact the Institute or call 970-491-2737 for more information on the program and how to apply.
