3D printing trainings available from Idea-2-Product

Idea-2-Product, Colorado State University’s 3D printing lab, offers periodic trainings to give users a basic introduction to 3D printing and to see how the lab works.

The sessions cover: available technologies in the I2P lab; 3D printing workflow; how to reserve printer time; safety hazards and protocols; proper technique for removing parts from the printer beds; printer preparation and use; slicing engine settings; material considerations; post-processing techniques; and lab rules.

Participation in a training session is required for interested lab users. The lab also charges a user fee.
